Under supervision of the Lab Supervisor, produces check sockets and laminated definitive prosthetic sockets as indicated by production orders.

About The Role
Under supervision of the Lab Supervisor, produces check sockets and laminated definitive prosthetic sockets as indicated by production orders.
What You’ll Do
- Fabricates prosthetic devices following established work instructions and quality standards
- The technician must be good at operating machinery such as power tools and need a high level of hand-eye coordination.
- Mixes pigments according to formula to duplicate what is requested from the customer.
- Tests prostheses for freedom of movement, sealed valves, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability, using plumb line and alignment fixtures.
- Maintains and requests adequate supplies of fabrication materials and components.
- Maintains and cleans the production area
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of high school or GED
- Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as a team member and leader.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
- Some experience in a manufacturing environment would be helpful.
