Warehouse Shipping Clerk

This position is responsible for creating shipping documents for outbound shipments, maintaining data accuracy within the system, communicating customer order details to warehouse supervisors, updating transactions within computer system, and any other duties required to ship product to our customers or outside distribution centers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Allocate and load plan customer orders (plan FGH loads regularly)
• Update pull and put away documents completed by the floor personnel in the computer system
• Create out bound shipping documents for customer and stock transfer shipments.
• Create export documents when needed
• Adjust inventory within system due to variances found through the pulling, put away, via the warehouse damage sheet and add on forms.
• Communicate with other departments such as customer service and trucking lines with regards to orders, shipping information and PODs as needed. .
• File shipping, put away , and corresponding documents for easy access when needed
• Back up inventory admin when on PTO by generating cycle counts and maintaining hold locations .
• Collaborate with the incoming and previous shifts to ensure a smooth handoff to the next shift.
• Cross-train in other office functions
