At Formia Design Jewelry Store, we believe jewelry tells a story — whether it’s restoring or redesigning a cherished family heirloom, a custom engagement rings, or bringing a new design to life from imagination alone. We are a family-run jewelry business built on creativity, craftsmanship, and genuine relationships, and we’re looking for a talented Bench Jeweler / Goldsmith to join our growing team.
We’re searching for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a warm, welcoming, and creative environment where artistry truly matters.
What You’ll Do
- Perform jewelry repairs including ring resizing, soldering, chain repair, polishing, and restoration/alteration work
- Set stones with care and precision
- Assist with custom jewelry projects and redesigns
- Interact with customers in-store regarding repairs, custom work, and sales
- Collaborate with our team to bring meaningful jewelry pieces to life
Preferred Skills
- Experience as a bench jeweler or goldsmith
- Comfortable with jewelry repair and resizing
- Stone setting experience
- Wax carving experience is a plus, but not required
- Attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow creatively

While some customer interaction is part of the role, this is primarily a hands-on bench position — strong craftsmanship matters most.
