Account Manager / Inside Sales – Manufacturing
Location: Rochester Hills, MI.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated technical-minded Account Manager with Sales experience in manufacturing or industrial sales to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in developing new sales and customer account opportunities, manage current customer accounts, RFQs, quotations, track new sales opportunities, and support the growth of key manufacturing accounts.
This is an onsite position, working closely with internal teams including Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to ensure customer requirements are understood and opportunities move efficiently from quote to order.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and customer-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new sales opportunities
- Travel to current and prospective customer sites from time to time
- Manage existing customer accounts and coordinate customer RFQs from intake through quotation and follow-up
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations in coordination with estimating and engineering teams
- Track and follow up on sales opportunities and customer inquiries
- Maintain customer and opportunity data within the company’s CRM and ERP systems
- Identify and support new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Serve as a key customer contact for sales support and order coordination
- Work with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated
- Manage order entry and project tracking
- Provide post-sale support and customer follow-up
- Assist the sales team with pipeline tracking, reporting, and opportunity management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales and/or account management experience
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical sales environments
- Experience in tubing or fluid handling systems preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred
