Position Summary

Formation Millwork is seeking a Production Support Technician to assist our production team with cabinet assembly, material handling, staging, packaging, and general shop operations.

This is an entry-level position designed for someone who enjoys helping a team succeed. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, willing to learn, and takes pride in supporting others.

As the company grows, this role will develop to include additional responsibilities such as deliveries, material staging, receiving support, and other operational functions that help keep projects moving smoothly from production through installation.

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being flexible, learning new skills, and contributing wherever the team needs support.

Primary Responsibilities

Production Support

• Assist with cabinet and component assembly
• Install hardware and accessories
• Package and protect completed work
• Move materials and components throughout the shop
• Assist with shop organization and housekeeping
• Support CNC and edgebander operations as directed
• Maintain organized workstations, carts, and staging areas

Material Handling

• Move and organize sheet goods, hardware, and materials
• Assist with staging materials for upcoming work orders
• Help maintain inventory organization
• Assist with receiving and material storage

Team Support

• Assist production team members as workload requires
• Support installation operations through deliveries and material movement when needed
• Help identify missing materials or potential issues
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications Required

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and move materials regularly
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record required to drive company vehicles
• Ability to pass customer-required background checks

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Preferred

• Experience in woodworking, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or delivery environments
• Experience operating hand and power tools
• Forklift experience (training available if needed)

As experience and responsibility grow, this position is expected to take on additional operational support responsibilities including material staging, receiving support, deliveries, and other tasks that help increase the efficiency of both the production and installation teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday
• 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
