Wine & Hospitality Associate - Part Time (8 - 16 hours) & Saturday only Associates
Position Summary
Formando Winery is seeking hospitality-driven Tasting Room Associates to deliver exceptional wine experiences while building meaningful relationships with guests. This role is responsible for providing wine tastings, food and wine service, wine club membership sales, and creating memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visits.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, service-focused, knowledgeable, and passionate about wine, hospitality, and creating genuine connections with guests.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest experiences throughout each visit.
- Guide guests through wine tastings, food pairings, and winery offerings.
- Educate guests on Formando wines, winemaking, vineyards, and winery experiences.
- Provide full food and beverage service, including taking orders, delivering food and wine, clearing tables, and anticipating guest needs.
- Build relationships with guests and encourage repeat visitation.
- Promote and sell wine club memberships, wine sales, and winery experiences.
- Process guest transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of wines, menu offerings, events, and club benefits.
- Assist with food and wine service throughout the tasting room, patio, and event spaces.
- Support private events, wine club events, and special programming.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout guest areas.
- Support wine, food, merchandise, and service supply restocking.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and communicate issues to management when needed.
- Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support winery operations and guest experience.
Qualifications
- Hospitality, restaurant, winery, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout shifts.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
