SUMMARY
A Machine Operator operates manufacturing machines to produce plastic parts. The Operator inspects parts to make sure they meet specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates all manufacturing machines and secondary equipment required per job and ensures machines are running properly
- Inspects parts per specification sheets
- Keeps count of parts
- Completes required paperwork
- Follows all safety rules
- Informs supervisor of problems
- Follows company policies concerning start and break times
- Keeps work area clean
- Learns to troubleshoot jobs
- Operates forklift (after training and certification)

- Pay increases and career advancement
- Very hot work environment during the summer months. Over 115 degrees.
- Fast-paced, labor-intensive. Must be able to perform the work in a hot environment.
- 1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm; 2nd shift: 3:00pm to 11:30pm; 3rd shift: 11:00pm to 7:30am
- $0.50/hr. shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts
