Summary

As a Pizza Cook at Formaggio Pizza & Italian Restaurant, you will play a vital role in creating our signature pizzas and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality. Located in a vibrant community, this position is essential for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
• Assist with food preparation for other menu items as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service during order preparation, including upselling when appropriate.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in pizza or Italian cuisine.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
