What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Formaggio Kitchen?
Formaggio Kitchen in Kendall Square is looking for a morning prep cook! Our Kitchen & Catering Team produces beautifully arranged platters and food made from our internationally sourced specialty ingredients as well as locally sourced produce and meats. From bountiful cheese platters to hors d’oeuvres to baked lasagna to desserts, we aim to provide our customers with an exceptional culinary experience.
Anticipated schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00-1:00.
This position will be responsible for working in all aspects of our catering operations and kitchen production including:

- Creating an assortment of breakfast items, fresh salads, sandwiches and soups for our prepared foods case
- Prepping ingredients for the catering team
- Prepping ingredients for our weekend barbecues
- Setting up our bread case
The most important requirements for success in this role are:
- Demonstrated culinary skills with a preferred minimum of 1 year experience in the field
- Ability to work quickly and cleanly with consistency
- On time and reliable
