What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Web Designer + Strategist position at FORM?
Full-Time • Fully Remote
About FORM
FORM is a boutique digital agency specializing in web design for arts, cultural, and nonprofit organizations. We build custom, visually rich websites and branding for mission-driven clients including museums, cultural institutions, human services and performing arts orgs. We love what we do– and we love what our clients stand for.
About the Role
We’re looking for a mid-level to senior Web Designer who can structure and design websites– from small and bespoke to layered and deep. You’ll shape site architecture, craft high-impact visuals, and work directly with clients and internal teams. If you love solving content puzzles and clean design, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Construct sitemaps and wireframes
- Design visually compelling websites and UI systems
- Present work confidently to clients and teammates
- Collaborate with developers and other designers
- Revise work based on internal feedback
- Design navigation systems so intuitive even your mom won’t call you with questions
What Makes FORM Different
- Fun content: We work exclusively with arts, cultural, and mission-driven nonprofits with amazing photography, rich storytelling, and clients who understand and appreciate good design.
- High design: Because of the clients we serve, we are able to develop uncommonly beautiful, highly visual projects.
- Meaningful work: Your work will elevate causes rather than sell products. Every FORM project supports a mission: The arts, education, preservation, community. Your work has real impact, and our clients actually care.
- Remote: We’re fully remote, but we get together occasionally to verify we’re still three-dimensional beings.
- Small team, big impact: You won’t be a cog in a wheel here. You’ll have a real voice and real influence on our work, processes, and team.
