General Description:
This is a part time position in which the person performs custodial functions to provide an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for the residents of Forks Township.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock.
- Clean, dust, and wipe furniture. Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. floor finish to hard surface floors, vacuum
- Empty and clean wastebaskets, and shampoo carpets. recycling containers, and trash
- Assist with the setup/tear down of checking for unlocked doors and windows, facilities for sporting events, programs, report any unauthorized occupants, turn off meetings, parties, etc. lights and adjust heat.
- Maintains supplies and equipment (e.g. Perform cleaning and related activities such cleaning solutions, paper products, as removing snow or debris from entrance vacuum, mops, etc.) for the purpose of areas using hand-operated tools or small- ensuring the availability of items power equipment. required to properly maintain facilities.
Skills & Requirements:
- MUST HAVE ability to use hand-operated tools and power equipment including floor buffers, burnishers, and scrubbers
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be reliable and dependable and have the ability to exercise good judgment
- Must be punctual and have good attendance
