Safety and Logistics Director

Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is seeking a Safety and Logistics Director to provide strategic leadership to FLP's safety programs, regulatory compliance efforts, and logistics operations. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving a culture of safety that protects our employees, supports operational excellence, and reflects FLP's commitment to quality, integrity, and accountability.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Safety and Logistics Director partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, field staff, and Operations personnel to integrate safety into every aspect of our business operations. This position oversees company-wide safety and compliance programs, incident prevention and investigation, equipment and asset management, and logistical planning.

This will be a full-time role and can be based in either our Fargo or Grand Forks, ND office.

Applicants must have/possess:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety or a related field
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Current and valid Driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
• Clear background record

The primary role of the Safety and Logistics Director includes the following essential functions:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of FLP's safety, risk management, and logistics programs across all company operations and project locations
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote a culture of accountability, hazard prevention, and employee well-being
• Direct company-wide jobsite audit and inspection programs to evaluate compliance, identify potential hazards, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to identify trends and prevent future occurrences
• Oversee the development and delivery of safety training programs, employee orientations, and ongoing workforce education
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer-specific safety requirements
• Coordinate company fleet operations, including vehicle assignments, maintenance scheduling, inspections, registrations, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee the procurement, scheduling, delivery, transfer, and return of rented equipment across all project locations

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety or a related field
• OSHA 30 Certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
