What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist), Per Diem, Imaging Services position at Forks Community Hospital?
Sonographers perform exams using high frequency sound waves to produce real-time visual images of organs, soft tissues, and blood flow within the body according to physicians’ orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program required.
Certification/Licensure: ARDMS Registered or registry eligible in the following areas: Abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, vascular, and adult echocardiography. Experience: Two years’ experience in a rural hospital setting preferred.
Shift: Per-Diem, Day Shift, Variable Monday-Saturday
SALARY: $46.45- $70.71 10% in lieu of benefits, DOE
