- We are seeking a skilled Service Shop Technician to join our growing service team and help maintain the high standards our customers have come to rely on.
What You’ll Do
Equipment Repair & Diagnostics
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues
- Perform repairs on LP, diesel, gas, and electric forklifts
- Complete routine maintenance, PMs, and safety inspections
- Test and verify proper equipment operation after service
Shop Workflow & Documentation
- Record labor time, parts used, and repair descriptions
- Maintain accurate work orders and follow company procedures
- Communicate repair progress to the Service Administrator or Service Manager
Quality & Safety
- Follow all safety guidelines and shop procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure repairs meet company and manufacturer standards
Additional Support
- Assist with new equipment setup and delivery prep
- Provide technical input to improve shop processes
- Support team members when needed
What You Bring
- Mechanical background in forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel tech, automotive, or similar field
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
- Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, or engine repair (preferred)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in workmanship
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read service manuals
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
