Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with produce, retail store products, and merchandise, maintaining optimal product placement and presentation standards
- Operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management systems, and reporting discrepancies promptly
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments using proper lifting techniques and safety practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area, including organizing storage spaces and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, packaging products, and ensuring retail store product knowledge is up-to-date
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting team members with stock inquiries or product location requests in a multilingual environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to operate RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and stocking procedures
- Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse team members and customers
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly while following safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing shipments efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members across various departments
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse operations is advantageous
