Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and accurately, enhancing the overall guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs in accordance with food safety standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, and supplies using safe lifting practices
- Support food runners and kitchen staff with basic food delivery or transportation when needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Uphold sanitation standards by adhering to cleaning protocols and food safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact politely with guests
- Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
