We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient food delivery, and attentive hospitality. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will contribute to creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service, skilled in guest relations, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery for timely service
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, wine pairings, and specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Server or in food service, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Strong communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration
Restaurant Hours:
Fork & Spoon will be open from 7 -3 M-S, 7 days a week.
Host hours: Friday - Saturday - Sunday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
