Job Title: Registered DietitianLocation: Tulare County, CaliforniaDepartment/Unit: DietarySalary Range: $40 to $50 per hourShift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)Duration: 16 Weeks Position Summary:Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian to join our team in Tulare County, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute care setting and be passionate about providing medical nutrition therapy and education to patients. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide medical nutrition therapy to patients and residents.Assess nutrition risks and needs, and recommend appropriate nutrition interventions.Educate patients and their families about nutrition and dietary guidelines.Document patient progress accurately in the medical record.Work with the Nutrition Services department to ensure compliance with diet orders.Precept and coordinate learning experiences for dietetic interns.Provide services to a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn patients.Requirements:Must be a Registered Dietitian with a valid state license.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.Certifications required: Registered Dietitian, Basic Life Support (BLS).Preferred experience with Meditech and CBORD systems.Spanish bilingual is preferred.Additional Information:Must adhere to a radius rule of 50 miles for candidates.Previous permanent staff will not be considered for travel assignments.If you are passionate about providing high-quality nutrition services and are looking for an opportunity to grow in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply!
