Managing Director, Technology
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our technology organization as Managing Director, Technology. This role will be responsible for driving the development of world-class products across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive modernization activities in the tech stack in line with our overall strategy, including large enterprise applications to SaaS-based deployments, breaking apart monoliths, and advancing development ecosystems.
- Engage in technology conversations and decisions with key stakeholders at the executive level.
- Onboard new companies/teams as required via mergers/acquisitions.
- Determine the design of the Technology organization, identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies to strengthen the team to meet strategic objectives.
- Direct the launch of new modules and releases, ensuring cross-functional implementation and timely delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements
- A background in software engineering.
- Applied knowledge of agile delivery, preferably using multiple methodologies.
- Proven experience in modernizing enterprise-level applications.
- Previous track record of building, expanding, and running large, globally distributed Engineering teams.
- SaaS cloud knowledge, preferably in migrating products to the cloud.
- Experience with DevOps delivery into production environments.
- Experience in marketing functions or branded product development.
- Knowledge of governance, financial management, and risk management.
