We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. The DevOps Engineer will manage development teams and provide experienced oversight to develop our clients critical tools and networking/cloud capabilities. You will have the opportunity to apply DevOps techniques to emerging cloud technology and influencing the next generation of innovative networking while designing the cybersecurity defenses for this emerging environment. As a technical lead, you'll work with the team to meet the most demanding challenges of 21st Century computing and cybersecurity. You will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely. Responsibilities Implement integrations requested by customersDeploy updates and fixesProvide Level 2 technical supportBuild tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve the customer experienceDevelop software to integrate with internal back-end systemsPerform root cause analysis for production errorsInvestigate and resolve technical issuesDevelop scripts to automate visualizationDesign procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Requirements Execute software builds & deploymentsCoordinate, manage, and perform production releasesCoordinate with multiple teams to ensure application environment is working properlyAutomate repetitive tasks including system builds, configuration and application installation processesCoordinate escalation of issues/risks and remove impedimentsInitiate infrastructure setup for new and upcoming applicationsWrite build scripts and automate the deployments for new applicationsSubmit Change/Incident Management Tickets, coordinate & obtain approvalsImplement standards, processes, & controls for release & deployment activities in DevOps spaceTake ownership and act with high sense of urgencyManage AWS cloud adoption initiatives, Deploy applications in AWS Cloud environmentParticipate in planning and implementation of infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), migrate existing applications to AWS cloud2 years of experience in DevOps, Configuration and Release Management rolesFamiliarity with artifact repository tools (SVN, Git, Nexus, etc.), software build-tools (Maven, ANT, Shell, Gradle), and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, AWS Code-Pipeline)Working experience in Unix environment, basic shell scriptingAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyAbility to modify or author implementation/back-out plans, best practice documents, and scripts which can be understood and used by others.AWS Cloud experience a plus
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
