Producer

Team Zeta is looking for a producer! We are looking for someone who is passionate, driven, and organized with a track record of producing new work in NYC, with hopes to expand further in 2027 and goals to attend the 2027 Edinburgh Fringe.

ZETA by Tevis Allan Directed by Alex Scordato About Zeta: A near-future user upgrades to a next-generation AI assistant, and the two begin an unexpected process of learning how to be human together. As their connection deepens, the boundary between support and control starts to blur, forcing both to confront what autonomy, memory, and identity really mean.

ROLE

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- Organized.

- Great communication and ability to ensure all parties have all the information they need.

- Able to problem solve quickly as things arise.

- Dedicated experience producing independent theater.

- Knowledgable of the landscape of producing theater in NYC - the major players and places one could perform.

- Able to keep a cool head under pressure and a positive atmosphere among the team!

Bonus points if:

- You have experience producing in Fringe festivals, and even more bonus points if you've taken a show to Edinburgh before.

- You've produced several new work shows.

- You have experience in the grant process and fundraising.

COMPENSATION

We are very small team operating on a shoestring budget, but we have some compensation for the first phase of this project and can discuss what future compensation looks like in 2027.
