What are the responsibilities and job description for the RevOps Manager position at Forgeworks.ai?
Forgeworks.ai | Denver, CO | In-Person | $125,000–$145,000
We're hiring multiple leads. If the post is live, we're hiring!
Services and software are converging, and the firms that win the next decade won't be the ones with the most headcount — they'll be the ones with the most leverage. Consulting is shifting from hours-billed to deliverables-shipped, and that shift rewards small, elite teams who can operate at a scale that used to require ten times the people.
That's the firm we're building.
Forgeworks is a boutique RevOps firm that embeds fractional teams inside growing companies, and we're training our people to be the operators who define what AI-powered service delivery looks like. We serve two verticals; tech and trades. Different clients, same conviction: a small team armed with the right systems and AI can deliver outsized results.
You'll spend your first 30-90 days co-leading clients directly alongside our founder — a former VP of RevOps who has built revenue operations for over 50 companies.
By month 2 and 3, you'll lead your own RevOps projects — supported by a RevOps Analyst and RevOps Project Manager.
That means:
- Leading client relationships proactively — you're their RevOps team, not their vendor
- Running discovery, building strategy, and executing across CRM and revenue systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zuper, and others depending on the client)
- Sitting across from founders, execs, and business owners and commanding the room
- Translating complex revenue operations into language that lands with the people actually running the business
- Building and refining the playbook for RevOps delivery across two very different verticals
- Using AI systems to compress work that used to take a team of five into work one person ships in a day
We've supported over $500M in client revenue this year alone and recently launched our first AI RevOps subscription product — a deliverable, not a headcount, sold and priced like software. This is the direction the whole firm is moving, and you'll be at the center of it.
Our primary CRMs are HubSpot and Salesforce on the tech side, and HubSpot and Zuper on the trades side. Experience in any of these is a plus but not required. If you've worked in comparable CRM, CPQ, or field service platforms, that translates. What matters more is that you're a Builder who gets into the tools yourself.
