Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR)


Construction Technology | Remote | Commission-Only (Initial 6 Months)


About ForgeOps

ForgeOps is a construction operations platform helping contractors streamline estimating, project management, field operations, reporting, and communication.


We're building a modern alternative to legacy construction software by creating technology that is powerful, intuitive, and designed specifically for growing construction companies.


As an early-stage startup, we're looking for our first SDR to help build our outbound sales engine and play a key role in our growth.

The Opportunity

This is not a typical SDR role.


We're looking for someone who wants to get in early, help shape a company, and grow alongside the business.


You'll work directly with the founders to generate opportunities, refine messaging, build relationships in the construction industry, and help establish ForgeOps as a leader in construction technology.

Compensation StructureFirst 6 Months

100% Commission-Based

This role is designed for someone who believes in their ability to create opportunities and wants unlimited earning potential.


Compensation includes:

  • Commission on qualified opportunities
  • Commission on closed business
  • Additional performance incentives
  • Potential equity consideration for exceptional performers


Growth Path

At the conclusion of the initial 6-month period, compensation will be reviewed based on performance, contribution, and company growth.

What You'll Do


Prospect Construction Companies
  • Identify and research contractors, builders, developers, and specialty trades
  • Build targeted prospect lists
  • Connect with owners, executives, project managers, estimators, and operations leaders


Generate Meetings
  • Cold calling
  • LinkedIn outreach
  • Email campaigns
  • Video messaging
  • Industry networking


Qualify Opportunities

Learn how companies currently manage:

  • Estimating
  • Project workflows
  • Field operations
  • Reporting
  • Communication
  • Technology adoption


Build Pipeline
  • Schedule qualified discovery calls and demos
  • Maintain CRM records
  • Follow up consistently
  • Help refine sales messaging and outreach strategies
