Forged Wellness & Co. is seeking an experienced LCSW or LCPC to join our growing practice as an independent behavioral health contractor.
This opportunity is ideal for a behavioral health professional who values autonomy and flexibility while benefiting from an established clinical practice and operational infrastructure. Providers may offer services in-clinic, virtually, or through a combination of both, with flexibility to establish their own availability within the parameters of the contractor agreement.
We're looking for someone who is personable, collaborative, motivated to grow their patient base, and excited about integrating behavioral health into a broader approach to preventive and longevity-focused care.
There is also significant opportunity to become involved in Forged Wellness & Co.'s workplace wellness programs, helping us expand behavioral health and mental wellness resources for employers and their teams.
WHAT FORGED PROVIDES:
As a contracted behavioral health provider, you'll have access to:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Current, unrestricted Montana LCSW or LCPC license
- Clinical experience providing behavioral health counseling/therapy
- Ideally 1–2 years of experience in clinical practice
- Comfortable providing both in-person and/or telehealth care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High standards for documentation, professionalism, confidentiality, and patient experience
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Interested in developing and growing a long-term patient base
- Interest in the connection between behavioral health, stress, sleep, lifestyle, chronic disease, resilience, and overall health
- Interest in working collaboratively alongside medical and wellness professionals
- Willingness to participate in marketing, education, networking, and other efforts to grow behavioral health services
- Must maintain their own professional liability/malpractice insurance appropriate for all services provided
** WORKPLACE WELLNESS OPPORTUNITIES ** :
A particularly exciting part of this role is the opportunity to help Forged expand behavioral health within our workplace wellness programs.
Depending on experience and interest, opportunities could include:
- Individual behavioral health services for participating employees
- Stress management and resilience programming
- Burnout prevention and education
- Mental wellness workshops and educational sessions
- Sleep, behavior change, and lifestyle-related programming
- Manager or leadership education around workplace mental wellness
- Participation in employee wellness events and health initiatives
- Development of customized behavioral health offerings for employer partners
Workplace services would be developed collaboratively based on the provider's expertise, employer needs, and appropriate clinical and professional boundaries.
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITY:
This is an independent contract position, not a traditional hourly employee role. The provider will have flexibility in establishing their availability and growing their behavioral health practice while utilizing Forged Wellness & Co.'s clinical and operational infrastructure.
Forged will support some marketing and visibility for behavioral health services; however, we're looking for someone who is also excited to actively participate in building their own patient base and growing this area of the practice.
** Financial terms will be established through an independent contractor agreement and may include a percentage-based arrangement reflecting the clinical space, EHR, scheduling, billing systems, administrative resources, marketing support, and other infrastructure utilized. Specific terms will be discussed directly with qualified candidates.
