Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Programmer. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for technical drawing interpretation, CNC programming, machining, milling, and programming tasks. The role requires close collaboration with the machining team to ensure efficient and accurate production processes. The CNC Programmer will also work closely with the engineering and quality teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews shop orders and drawings to determine machining specifications and requirements.
- Monitors and changes cutting tools(inserts) as needed.
- Performs dimensional inspection of product as required.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in technical drawing interpretation and CNC programming
- Experience in machining and milling operations
- Strong programming skills for CNC machines
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering specifications
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in an AS9100 Quality Environment a PLUS
- Experience machining metallic components greater than 500lbs a PLUS
- Experience machining metallic components larger than 24" in section size a PLUS
