Director, Treasury & Investor Relations

The Director Treasury & Investor Relations will lead the Treasury and Investor Relations function and its team, with responsibility for financing strategy, liquidity, capital markets execution, investor relations, insurance coordination for debt raises, and location strategy and real estate execution for network assets, tightly aligned with debt and capital structure strategy. The role will advise executive leadership on capital structure, capital allocation, investor positioning, and enterprise value creation, translating complex strategies into clear communications for lenders, investors, analysts, and the Board.

A central priority is developing and executing asset-backed securitization (ABS) financing for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) assets, from financing strategy and collateral analysis through lender and investor engagement, diligence, structuring, and closing. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong judgment, transaction execution, and executive communication.

•  Lead evaluation, structuring, and execution of financing alternatives, including ABS, term loans, revolving facilities, private placements, and other debt capital markets transactions, in collaboration with owners and prospective or future institutional equity partners, as applicable.

•  Develop an ABS funding program for FTTH assets, including collateral and debt-capacity analysis, rating agency and lender engagement, diligence, documentation, insurance requirements, and execution readiness. Leverage owner and institutional equity partner expertise where available.

•  Assess financing structures based on cost, leverage, flexibility, covenant implications, liquidity, and strategic fit; recommend actions that improve the maturity profile and cost of capital.

•  Manage transaction workstreams with banks, institutional investors, rating agencies, legal counsel, accounting advisors, owners, and other external partners; establish clear roles and decision rights while maintaining company ownership of financing recommendations and execution.

•  Monitor capital markets conditions and identify refinancing, liability management and opportunistic funding alternatives.

•  Own enterprise liquidity planning, debt capacity analysis, maturity planning and funding strategy in partnership with FP&A and Accounting.

•  Lead debt portfolio management, including drawdowns, repayments, amendments, renewals, covenant compliance and executive reporting.

•  Manage strategic relationships with lenders, banking partners, treasury service providers, and financing counterparties, coordinating closely with owners and institutional equity partners where their expertise or relationships can strengthen an outcome.

•  Advise on capital allocation and financing implications of network expansion and strategic investments.

•  Develop and execute location strategy for network assets, including real estate diligence, negotiation, and contracting, tightly aligned with debt and capital structure strategy.

•  Oversee interest-rate and counterparty exposure; recommend practical risk mitigation strategies consistent with approved policy and business needs.

•  Develop the company’s debt investor relations strategy, credit narrative, and financing communications in partnership with executive leadership and aligned owners or institutional equity partners, where appropriate.

•  Lead preparation of debt investor presentations, financing materials, rating agency materials, Board materials, executive talking points, and other strategic communications.

•  Prepare executives for meetings and other engagements with lenders, debt investors, rating agencies, and financing counterparties.

•  Build relationships with current and prospective debt investors, lenders, and rating agencies; synthesize market feedback and credit perspectives for leadership.

•  Produce credit benchmarking, capital markets, and debt investor intelligence to inform financing, capital allocation, and communication decisions.

•  Lead the Treasury and Investor Relations function, manage and develop direct reports, and serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Finance and executive leadership.

•  Establish fit-for-purpose treasury and investor relations governance, reporting, policies and decision frameworks without duplicating Accounting ownership.

•  Partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Network Planning, and Operations, as well as owners and institutional equity partners where applicable, to connect operating performance, asset data, and capital needs to financing and investor communications.

•  Present clear recommendations to senior leadership and the Board, balancing strategic opportunity, execution risk and financial impact.

•  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

•  10 years of progressive experience across treasury, capital markets, corporate finance, structured finance or investor relations, including people leadership.

•  Demonstrated execution experience with complex debt financings, refinancing or liability management transactions.

•  Experience evaluating or executing ABS or other structured finance transactions, including asset-level analysis, diligence and engagement with lenders or investors.

•  Executive-level communication skills, with experience translating complex financial topics into compelling Board, lender or investor materials.

•  Strong financial modeling, analytical judgment, project leadership and external relationship management skills.

•  Experience financing FTTH, broadband, telecommunications, digital infrastructure or other capital-intensive assets.

•  Experience building or executing an ABS financing program and supporting institutional investor education for infrastructure assets.

•  Background spanning both treasury or capital markets execution and investor relations or strategic financial communications.

•  Experience operating within a complex, multi-entity, joint venture, or affiliate structure and partnering directly with CEOs, CFOs, Boards, sponsors, or institutional equity investors.

•  MBA, Master of Finance, CTP or CFA designation.
