1.0 TITLE
Inside Sales Representative
The inside sales representative manages inbound Requests for Quote (RFQs), handles quotations of said opportunities, and works with clients to bid, secure purchase orders, and manage sales orders through the manufacturing process. The inside sales representative serves as both a relationship manager and a customer service representative for clients of the FCI division of Westbrook Energy Group.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing Inside Sales Representative for various products will sell and provide guidance about products needed by wholesalers and manufacturers.
· Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in the manufacturing fields.
· Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
· Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
· Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients.
· Provides customer service to clients through information regarding status of orders and related documentation
· Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and submits orders.
· Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
· Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Support and participate in FCI’s continual improvement program to conform ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
· Comply with Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.
· Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
3.0 requirements
3.1 education and training
· High School diploma required.
3.2 experience
· At least two years of industry sales experience required.
· Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015.
3.3 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
3.4 PHYSICAL AND SAFETY
· Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8-10 hours per day.
· Able to lift 50lbs. (may be different for office /administrative employees).
· Must comply with all safety and PPE requirements.
· Exposure with production environment
