Sign Fabricator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes and techniques, with a keen eye for detail and quality. As a Fabricator, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality components that meet our specifications and standards. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Read and interpret shop/technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate fabrication processes.
• Fabricate and weld sign cabinets in aluminum or steel.
• Operate various fabrication tools and machinery, including saws, drills, shears, brakes, welding equipment, and hand tools.
• Assemble components according to design specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the process.
• Wire electrical lighting within signs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
• Quickly troubleshoot issues on the spot as they arise.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience (3 years) in fabrication or manufacturing.
• Channel letter fabrication and/or CNC router experience are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Experience with installation and/or carpentry a plus
• English required, Bilingual a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
