Our client is a well-established, growth-oriented manufacturing organization based in Greenville, SC, known for operational excellence, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and employee engagement. They are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, driving recruiting efforts while supporting key HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing talent acquisition, employee relations, and operational HR in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Functions
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, building strong talent pipelines in a competitive labor market
- Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and staffing strategies
- Design and deliver onboarding and orientation programs to support retention and productivity
- Support benefits administration, including employee education and open enrollment
- Promote and support a strong safety culture, including OSHA compliance, reporting, and training coordination
- Track safety incidents, manage workers’ compensation, and support investigations
- Serve as a trusted HR partner for employee relations, engagement, and policy administration
- Support performance management, coaching leaders, and corrective action processes
- Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping audits, and HR data accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience leading full-cycle recruiting and workforce planning
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
- Experience supporting safety programs and OSHA standards is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with HRIS systems (iSolved or similar)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
