This position will contribute to FORGE PR’s success with communication and marketing support through media relations initiatives, influencer engagement, internal and client communications, along with various projects.
Clients range from non-profits, food & beverage, technology, lifestyle, arts & entertainment and more, as our client portfolio continues to evolve and expand.
Senior Account Executive work will contribute to our overall goals and achievements.
- Compensation is in line with industry standards and based on the individual's overall experience and capabilities
- Work can be done virtually after orientation and training
- Direct reporting to FORGE PR partners
Primary Responsibilities
- WRITING/EDITING: Drafting press materials including press releases, pitches, media alerts, media briefers and more
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Manage internal and client- facing communications including internal task management, client emails, teaching other staff about client relations
- RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT: Review research, media lists and influencer platforms, participate in and lead internal brainstorming sessions and client facing strategy sessions, oversee ongoing updates to client-facing pitch calendars
- MANAGEMENT: Oversee daily project management of FPR interns, Account Coordinators and Account Executives, manage onboarding process and training of interns, in collaboration with FPR partners, provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed
- ADMINISTRATIVE: Coordinate and schedule meetings between clients and FPR, create and review Account Status Meeting Agendas and Notes, Account Activity Reports, organizing internal drive and documents, review and edit Media Trackers
Required Experience, Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience preferred within the industry
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to successfully coordinate key relationships and projects across the organization and externally
- Ability to successfully plan, implement and complete project plan/action plan tasks, in addition to contributing to the preparation and coordination of the plans
- Team collaboration
- Effective time management, particularly with regard to meeting deadlines
- Confidentiality, when necessary, for the benefit of a client or the company
