Title: Superintendent

Reports to: Adam Hammons

Duties:

• Oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and ownership team to develop project plans and ensure smooth execution.
• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to the Operation department; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
• Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Purchases materials and appropriate equipment needed for job-sites.
• Supervise and direct construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and resolving any issues.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for General Contractors, providing updates, resolving concerns, and maintaining project documentation.
• Lead and manage the on-site construction team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Monitor project costs, review invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify and solve problems to keep the project on track and mitigate risks.
• Work at the Factory performing QAQC tasks when not working at the field or jobsite.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications in construction management are beneficial.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions.
• Familiarity with construction software and the ability to read construction drawings.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
• Must be able to acces and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing tasks that require physical strength and coordination.
• Able to navigate different terrains, climb ladders or scaffolding, and access confined spaces.
• Good eyesight and hearing to observe, assess, and communicate effectively on the construction site.
• Overall good health to cope with physical demands and work in various weather conditions.
