  • Facilitate interdisciplinary case conferences, treatment team meetings, and peer-to-peer clinical reviews to promote collaboration and integrated care.
  • Track and analyze program census to ensure alignment with DMHAS expectations for access, timeliness, and quality of care.

Client Care & Direct Service

  • Conduct client intakes, screenings, and diagnostic assessments as needed, ensuring compliance with DMHAS admission and eligibility standards.
  • Provide direct clinical services and maintain a small caseload as appropriate.
  • Respond to clinical crises, conduct risk assessments, and implement safety planning and emergency protocols in line with NJAC, DMHAS, and company policies.
  • Oversee smooth transitions of care, including admissions, step-downs, referrals, and discharges, with documentation that meets standards.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure staff adherence to client rights, grievance processes, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards in accordance with NJAC and DMHAS.
  • Maintain oversight of staff compliance with training, continuing education, and in-service requirements.
  • Ensure staff preparedness in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, emergency protocols, and mandated reporting responsibilities per DMHAS/NJAC standards.
  • Assist with preparation for DMHAS, Medicaid, and accreditation audits by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and service delivery.
  • Support continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance client outcomes and program effectiveness in line with DMHAS performance measures.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a clinical leader within the IOP/OP clinic, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Partner with the Clinic Leadership team to align clinical services with organizational goals.
  • Act as a resource for clinicians regarding complex cases, ethical dilemmas, or treatment planning challenges.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with referral sources, external providers, and community partners in accordance with integrated care and care coordination standards.
