Overview
Forge and Flight Holdings, Inc. is hiring RAPIDS Workstation Operators to support military ID card services at the Fort Bragg Soldier Support Center. In this role, you will issue Common Access Cards (CAC) and dependent ID cards (USID) to soldiers, retirees, family members, and DoD civilians using the Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS). This is steady, full-time, on-site work supporting a multi-year federal services contract.
What You Will Do
- Verify customer identity and eligibility using source documents and the DEERS database
- Issue Common Access Cards (CAC) and USID dependent ID cards using a RAPIDS workstation
- Process Personal Identification Number (PIN) resets for CAC holders
- Update DEERS records accurately and discuss benefit entitlements with customers
- Maintain accuracy and meet processing time standards on every transaction
- Safeguard card stock, consumables, and personally identifiable information in accordance with Privacy Act requirements
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- U.S. citizenship, required for installation access and a federal background check
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), a standard federal background investigation
- Comfortable with computer based data entry and basic office software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures exactly
- Professional, courteous manner with the public; this role involves frequent face to face interaction with military families
Preferred:
- Prior military service, DoD civilian experience, or work in a government or military ID card office
- Current or prior RAPIDS Verifying Official (VO) certification
- Experience with DEERS, RAPIDS, or similar government personnel database systems
If you do not currently hold RAPIDS certification, training is provided after hire and must be completed before you begin working independently.
Compensation and Benefits
- $22.18 per hour base wage plus a $5.09 per hour Health and Welfare benefit.
- Paid sick leave accrual under Executive Order 13706, at one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 56 hours per year
- Consistent Monday to Friday daytime schedule with no weekend or holiday rotation
