About the Role
As a Medical Assistant at Foreviva, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians, nurses, and nutrition specialists. Your primary focus will be assisting with gynecology appointments, medical weight-loss care, and a wide range of aesthetic treatments. This is a hands-on role that requires compassion, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for helping patients look and feel their best.

Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Support physicians and nurses during gynecology visits, weight-loss consultations, and aesthetic procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, measure weight, prepare patients for exams/treatments.
- Administer injections as directed.
- Provide compassionate emotional support throughout each patient’s journey.
- Educate patients on weight-loss strategies, lifestyle modifications, healthy habits, and pre/post-treatment care for aesthetic services.
- Assist with patient intake, photos, numbing, and preparing treatment rooms.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, well-stocked clinical environment.
- Promote and sell skincare products aligned with patient needs and treatment plans.
Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately document patient information, medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in EMR systems.
- Ensure strict patient confidentiality following HIPAA regulations.
Administrative Duties
- Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars.
- Answer phone calls, address patient questions, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist with billing and payment processing.
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and nutritionists to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, supportive work environment.
- Be an active part of team growth — sharing ideas, problem-solving, and helping refine patient experience.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assisting training program with certification.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Previous experience in a medical spa, weight-loss clinic, women’s health practice, or aesthetic setting is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to take initiative.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
