ForeverLawn of St Louis is on the lookout for a diligent and self-driven Sales and Business Development Representative (Turf Consultant) to join our team. The product range boasts exclusive offerings in premium artificial turf from safety surfacing for playgrounds, indoor sports facilities, outdoor sports fields, K9 facilities, landscaping to premiere putting greens for the golf enthusiast. Your clientele, will comprise of a diverse mix, including municipalities, park and recreation departments, architects, landscape professionals, playground providers, faith-based institutions, private entities, homeowners and developers. Great opportunity for someone that was or is in construction sales, lawn maintenance/landscaping sales, former landscape architects, athlete/coach, park directors and school administrators. Potential to make $100K plus a year.
Primary Responsibilities:
Spearhead all sales activities within the specified territory.
- Drive new business development initiatives.
- Forge and nurture relationships with potential collaborators, with a particular focus on landscape architects.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product range and their pricing structures.
- Offer guidance in project design and suggest product recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Craft and present compelling project proposals to either individuals or groups.
- Foster seamless communication with the internal Design and Sales Processing departments.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in both direct sales and business development, with a background in either landscape or surfacing sales an added plus.
- Demonstrated prowess in B2B sales scenarios.
- Proven track record of lead generation.
- Capability to initiate cold calls targeting prospective clients and partners.
- Stellar written and oral communication skills, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Presentation skills for varied audiences.
- A knack for relationship cultivation and management.
- Proficiency in deciphering RFQ/RFP, order documentation, and contract stipulations.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Readiness to travel as per business demands.
- Previous experience working with purchasing COOP’s.
- Previous project management experience is a plus.
