About Us
Forever Wildland Fest is entering its fourth year as an independent punk and hardcore music festival benefiting Grassroots Wildland Firefighters.
Created by former and current wildland firefighters, music lovers, talent buyers, and members of the independent music community, the festival was built to bring people together around great music while supporting the wildland firefighting community. A portion of proceeds benefits programs focused on housing assistance, mental health resources, and improved working conditions for wildland firefighters.
The 2026 festival will take place in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
About the Role
We are seeking a Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager to help secure brand partnerships and financial support for Forever Wildland Fest's 2026 events and future growth.
This is a fully remote, commission-only independent contractor position ideal for someone with experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, fundraising, business development, event marketing, media sales, or relationship management. The Sponsorship Coordinator will play a key role in identifying prospective partners, conducting outreach, and helping grow the festival through meaningful sponsorship opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Research, identify, and qualify potential sponsors, partners, and supporters
• Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other channels
• Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective sponsors
• Present sponsorship opportunities using the festival's sponsorship deck and marketing materials
• Negotiate and help close sponsorship agreements alongside festival leadership
• Track outreach activity, conversations, and partnership status in shared spreadsheets and CRM tools
• Provide brief weekly progress updates and participate in team check-ins
• Collaborate with festival leadership on sponsorship strategy and prospecting priorities
• Help secure both financial sponsorships and valuable in-kind partnerships
• Represent Forever Wildland Fest professionally when communicating with brands, organizations, and community partners
Compensation
• Commission-only
• Earn 20% of all new sponsorship revenue you directly secure and close
• No cap on earnings
• Independent contractor position

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Organized and able to manage outreach pipelines
• Experience in sponsorship, sales, partnerships, fundraising, marketing, events, or business development preferred
• Passion for independent music, live events, or nonprofit causes is a plus
