Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Box Truck OTR Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances using a 26ft non-CDL box truck. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in delivery driving, ensuring timely and SAFE deliveries while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
The candidate MUST be reliable, consistent, and professional, with strong communication and reading skills. We are especially looking for individuals who can represent the company with professionalism while interacting with customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a 26ft box truck for over-the-road deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, utilizing equipment such as liftgate and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Required Skills and Qualities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks preferred. (Must be able to provide MVR for the last 30 days.)
- Pass a DOT physical exam and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Be familiar with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) operation.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.

Preferred Experience
- Prior OTR driving experience in a 26ft box truck or larger.
- Basic mechanical understanding of vehicle upkeep.
- Experience using dispatch apps, GPS routing, and load boards.
Pay & Benefits
- 25% of the rate confirmation (Rate Con) per load ($1000 per week min.)
