What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driving Instructor position at Forever Focused Driving Academy?
Job Summary
We are seeking professional instructors to provide patient, personalized instruction-designed to build confidence and develop safe driving habits. We emphasize the three c‘s of driving – concentration, control, and courtesy – to help every student become a skilled, responsible and confident driver. Previous teaching experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Your Role
- Provide behind-the-wheel driving instruction to students of various experience levels.
- Teach safe driving techniques and traffic laws.
- Prepare students for road test.
- Maintain accurate lesson records and progress reports.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Driving instructor certification/license (PDI cert.)
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Patient, dependable and professional demeanor.

We are located in Cambridge, MA, we serve students throughout the Cambridge and surrounding communities. All our student pick ups and drop offs will be in Cambridge. Every student is important to us and we are dedicated to helping each individual achieve their driving goals. We offer a variety of services, including regular driving lessons, private lessons, road test preparation, and road test sponsorship for students use during their road test. We also offer, drivers education packages for teens under 18 as well as driving lessons for adults of all experience level.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
