Role Description
This is a contract, remote role for an Associate Veterinarian. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for performing in-home euthanasia services with compassion and professionalism. Daily tasks include driving to appointments, conducting consultations with pet owners, administering euthanasia procedures, and providing emotional support to families during the process. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in veterinary medicine, particularly in end-of-life care and euthanasia
- Compassionate and empathetic communication with pet owners
- Ability to work independently and travel for in-home appointments
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Nevada ( /- California)
- Drivers license
- Ability to lift 50/75 lbs.
