Job Overview
Forever 17 Sober Living is seeking a dedicated, structured, and compassionate Resident Support Staff / Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be a key part of maintaining a safe, supportive, and accountable environment for women in recovery.
You will serve as a daily support system for residents by helping guide routines, reinforcing structure, and promoting personal growth and independence. This position is ideal for someone who is consistent, dependable, and passionate about helping others rebuild their lives
Duties
- Support residents with daily routines and structured schedules
- Conduct house check-ins and monitor overall behavior and progress
- Assist with intake process and basic documentation
- Provide transportation to:
- Work
- Appointments
- Job interviews
- Ensure house rules and expectations are followed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment
- Facilitate or support group activities, journaling, and meetings
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding resident progress or concerns
- Assist with conflict resolution in a calm and professional manner
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (REQUIRED)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to enforce structure and boundaries respectfully
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent
- Ability to work in a structured environment
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience in:
- Recovery support
- Mental health
- Group homes or residential settings
- CPR / First Aid certification
