Saw Filer Job Description:
- We are currently looking for a fulltime Saw Filer to join our facility located in Collins Ms.
- Preparing saws for proper level, tension, sharpness, and all other specifications.
- Ensure all guides are maintained at proper tolerances.
- Preparing saw teeth and replacing broken and missing teeth.
- Keep general area clean and free of debris.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operating difficulties.
- Assists in other areas of the mill when needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Saw Filer experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Basic understanding of planned/preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
