We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. We generate dispatchable, renewable power and create stable energy in an uncertain world. Building on our proud heritage, we have ambition to become the global leader in sustainable biomass and carbon removals.

You’ll be joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers and business champions. We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.

So, what will you be doing?

In this role, you will track all the key trends in all aspects of what is now being called Nature Positive. This means the whole spectrum of biodiversity, conservation, ecosystem services and natural capital. You will be well connected to the key hubs for this debate, sharing with Drax colleagues what needs to be achieved by us, while ensuring that we are influential in the wider debate on nature positive.

The role will also explore and understand the emerging market for biodiversity credits to seek opportunities to engage in the market either as a buyer or provider.
