Finance Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Director to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines.
• Manage financial reporting processes, including regulatory filings, audit coordination, and internal financial reports.
• Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control initiatives.
• Collaborate with business development teams to support growth initiatives through strategic planning and financial modeling.
• Supervise budgeting processes, forecast accuracy, and cost management efforts to optimize profitability.
• Lead a team of finance professionals in areas like governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and technical accounting practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial software systems and ensure accurate recordkeeping across all financial functions.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and ASC 606 guidelines.
• Proven experience in corporate finance, risk management, and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of governmental accounting and non-profit sector financial practices.
• Expertise in regulatory reporting, compliance management, and audit coordination.
• Proficiency in treasury management tools, budgeting software, and financial analysis platforms.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and influence cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced skills in financial report writing, interpretation of complex financial data, and account analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and cost control initiatives.
• Strong technical accounting skills including accrual accounting, revenue management (ASC 606), and general ledger reconciliation.
