Join our Tree Service as a Crew Leader/Driver and take charge of leading a crew to deliver exceptional services including tree removal, tree trimming and stump grinding. As a key player, you'll be responsible for safely transporting equipment and team members to job sites while overseeing daily operations, fostering teamwork, and maintaining quality workmanship. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport crew members, tools, and materials to various job sites
- Lead and supervise a 3 man crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to client specifications
- Oversee tree services including tree removals, tree trimming and stump grinding
- Use our company app to clock in, see job expectations, track jobs, see your daily schedule and upload photos and videos from jobs
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions to obstacles
Skills
- Clean cut appearance
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have a smart phone
- Proven experience in blue collar or construction environments
- Supervising or leadership experience in blue collar or construction environments preferred
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree service equipment and vehicle operation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Experience operating trucks, utility vehicles, and/or field equipment preferred
- CDL preferred but not required
- Tree service experience preferred but not required
