Position Title: EveningLaundromat Attendant

Summary of Position: This position will be responsible for overseeing the laundry facility. A Laundry Attendant’s responsibilities include assisting customers, washing/drying/folding laundry as needed, ensuring all facility rules are followed, and making sure all the machines are cared for and maintained along with various miscellaneous tasks around the facility.

Shifts Available:
Afternoon to Close (approx 4pm-9pm)
***we can be flexible with your schedule for start time bewteen 3 & 5pm, closing is between 8-9:30pm, based on whether patrons volume/traffic that evening**
Must be able to do a minimum of 1 evening on the weekends and 2-3 weekday shifts
Qualities:
This is a largely unsupervised position so the ideal candidates must be self-motivated, excel at completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and should demonstrate exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Washing/Drying/Folding laundry
- Wiping down machines, cleaning / closing procedures
- Answering phone calls
- Ensuring all facility rules are followed
- Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
- Anticipate and respond to customers’ queries, and concerns
- Operate register and kiosk
Requirements and skills
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, or a related role preferred
- Organizational and time management skills
- Patient demeanor with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be available to take minimum 1-2 evening/closing shifts per week
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs (occasional for drop-off orders)
- Comfortable working alone during evenings
- Basic troubleshooting of machines (resetting, reporting issues)
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position. Ideal candidates can work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week - and available to work both 2-3 weekdays and 1 weekend evening. We can be flexible with shift start time, within reason. Pending performance, there will be future opportunities to extend hours and days, if desired, and/or take on additional shifts. Please DO NOT apply if you do not have a flexible schedule, as this is a supplementary income position. Must have have weekend and evening availability.
