This position provides support to HR functions including: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, data and file maintenance, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR guidance to managers and supervisors, and provide HR support to employees.
- Promote positive employee relations, respond to employee inquiries, and be involved in resolving issues and concerns.
- Supports the staffing needs of the plant. This includes screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting new hires as they move through the onboarding process.
- Conduct new hire orientation ensuring that applicable paperwork is completed and policies are reviewed.
- Perform a variety of HRIS tasks including data entry and regular file maintenance.
- Assist with organizational training and development efforts.
- Deliver excellent results with a positive and professional attitude and lead by example.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2-5 years of experience in human resources. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus but not required.
- Experience supporting the complete talent acquisition process, including working within applicant tracking systems, communicating with applicants during the interview and offer stages, etc.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Able to professionally communication with varying roles within the plant including an office and hourly workforce.
