Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical lifts, ADL care, and compasionate caregiving practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- The Certified Nursing Assistant will help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from beds to wheelchairs or other locations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following proper infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record system (Point Click Care).
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans for each patient.
Requirements
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Colorado
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
