Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based out of St. Louis, MO. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting lumber and building materials to various customers. Daily tasks include vehicle inspections, loading and unloading materials, ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License and clean driving record
- Experience in truck driving, including loading and unloading goods
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and adherence to safety procedures
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Physical capability to handle heavy materials and secure loads
- Prior experience in the lumber or building materials industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
