Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Major Gifts & Planned Giving will develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major and planned gifts. This role will also supervise a team that manages individual, corporate, and foundation giving activities.
Functions of the Job:
- Manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors.
- Work with the Development Team, Development Committee, and Board of Directors to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective donors.
- Manage the Leffingwell Society (leadership giving membership program).
- Manage the Nathan Frank Society (planned giving program).
- Collaborate with Events Manager and Senior Manager Sponsorship & Business Development to plan and execute the Hat Luncheon (annual signature fundraising event).
- Track and report relationship-management activity using Raiser’s Edge.
- Lead and manage development professionals.
- Manage projections and budget related to appropriate programs.
- Meet with current and prospective donors in various locations in Forest Park, off site, and at private residences.
- Attend Development and organization events.
- Other duties as assigned.
