Activity Assistant Per Diem

Forest Manor Health Care Center is seeking an Activity Aide to join our team! You will perform a variety of duties to assist our residents in attaining and/or maintaining their highest practical physical, mental and social well-being. This per diem position is for every other weekend shifts, and covering department call outs/vacations. This is an entry level position, with the potential to move into a part/full time placement. Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist in planning and conducting activities
• Prepare and organize supplies needed to conduct activities
• Monitor dining room during meal times
• Assist residents with daily living skills as needed
• Assist with resident outings and planned activities
• Maintain a safe environment for our residents
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in activities a plus, but willing to train
• Strong work ethic
• Caring and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must be 18 or older to apply
